Mission
Statement
The
Institute will assist in the establishment of a society in which equality
of opportunity will be assured, with the belief that the realization
of equal citizenship for all, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity,
creed or sexual orientation, requires education in the fullest range
of educational methods, curricula and delivery systems.
The
Institute will conduct public education by holding meetings, lectures,
discussion groups, conferences and summer schools; by promoting research
in national and international political, economic and social problems;
by publishing books, pamphlets and periodicals; and by any other appropriate
methods including the establishment of an educational institution of
higher education.
The
Institute's educational approach shall include projects of every sort:
music, dance, literature, art and theater.
